We are honoured to welcome Marylou Sanchez for a 2.5-day ceremonial retreat devoted to healing, inner truth, and spiritual awakening through Sacred Earth Medicines. 

 

Born nearly 65 years ago in a small town in Durango, Mexico , Marylou grew up in a large and loving family guided by deeply devoted parents. From early childhood she felt a strong spiritual calling—one that eventually led her beyond traditional Catholicism into a 25-year esoteric and spiritual path with the Gnostic tradition in both Mexico and Canada. 

 

In 2012, after a profound health crisis that conventional medicine could not resolve, Marylou experienced deep healing through a sacred plant medicine.  That experience restored her health and revealed the path that would become her life’s mission.

 

For the past 12 years, Marylou has been organizing and facilitating sacred ceremonies. Her training has unfolded through a deep and ongoing relationship with the medicines themselves, supported by years of apprenticeship and teacher-plant dietas in the Amazon.  Her path has been guided by experienced elders and rooted in traditions that honour reverence, safety, and responsibility in ceremonial space. 

 

Although she facilitates ceremonies internationally in Mexico and Malaysia, Marylou’s primary focus has become Canada , where a spiritual family has been quietly growing around this work.

 

Marylou approaches this role with humility and devotion, seeing herself simply as a human being in service to the sacred and to the awakening of humanity. 

 

This retreat offers a carefully held ceremonial space for those who feel sincerely called to engage in deep inner work and connection with Sacred Earth Medicines within a supportive community.
